Teddy

I live in a trailer park. I move slow. I have some friends who think slow, too. I have a big belly stuffed with cotton. I have only one button left. I wobble when I move. I speak slow, but I can speak faster if I want. I'm just too lazy.

I like action movies. I always wish I was like the stunt men in the movies. They take great risks on behalf of actors who get paid way too much.

Dear Erwin,

Dear Erwin,
I hope this letter makes it. I'm sorry that I couldn't write for so long to write. It's not so easy for me to get to the post office here near Madras, but my mom gave me the stamps so I can mail this to you. We've been learning about geography in school. I didn't know India was so far away from you. I wish I could get away for a while. If I were a bird I'd fly there right now and we could play cricket all day. Maybe you can come visit me. You would have come here on a boat. Write soon. Your friend, Alagan Vijay.

Where are you going with that. I don't know. What are you doing. I'm making tea for mom. You can't do that. Why not, she's sick I'm gonna make her better. Well she's sleeping. You don't want to wake her up. I'll just put it by her bed. No. How come you never let me help. Because she doesn't want your help. You need to pay attention in school. So do you. That's none of your business. Give it to me. No. I'll give to to her. He takes the tray from Erwin. Take out the trash. What? Just do it. I hate you! No you don't. Yes I do you're just jealous that mom likes me better. You're gonna pay for what you just said. Oh yeah? Yeah. Erwin slams the door behind him. Cries.

He brings the trash out. A mail man drives up to the box. Erwin waves to him. He runs to the mail box and sifts through the junk mail. He finds an air mail address to Erwin Fischer...

Cut to Erwin's room....

Erwin reads the letter on his desk. On his desk his handmade toys are watching.

At the end

Trying to Lou into the end, or near the end. Lou sits in the car. Erwin get backs into the car. He's soaking wet. He doesn't have his box with him. Lou, "Where's your box?" Erwin, "I left it there." He doesn't even bother getting out of the car. He just sulks there and lets his uncle and brother drive away with hopeless feelings. Erwin is about to give into his hopeless feelings. He stares at his brother and gives him a confident look on his face.
The car drives off leaving Erwin's hopes at sea. They still remain out there, unable to get back as long as erwin has shelved his imagination away.

candy

It's a late afternoon in the candy store. It's empty, even though there are crowds of people outside wandering around.
At the counter is a candy man. He holds a giant lollypop in his hands. Talks to it.

Candy man, "What on earth am I going to do?"
What am I doing?
What should I do?
Where are my customers.

This story used to be so busy, but now they're not coming anymore.
I'm talking to myself again!"

One girl peeks in. "Come in!"

She runs away.

"Don't feel bad, says a voice from behind the counter."

Who said that?

"I did."

I didn't see anyone come in.

"You're right no one did come in."

Then who's talking?

"I am. Down here."

He looks down below and sees a cardboard box. He takes it out and sets it on the counter.

He opens the flaps. Looks inside.

It's dark in there. Only a small reflection and then some eyes.

Hello.

The candy man just throws the box down. No way no way. I must be dreaming this.

He runs to the sink, and drinks some water. It's hot in here....whew.

The candy man steps outside. I need some fresh air.

Rollergirls

Tattoos, skates, and arena lights.
There's a fast parade of black and red butterflies, action upon reaction.
There's physics at play here.
Examples of internia, in which 130 pound bodies moving at a horizontal vector against gravity's pull, are slammed into eachother. Sometimes the force is so great that gravity takes over and the floor becomes closer to the skater than ever before.
The result is a chain reaction of the floor coming into quick contact with knees, elbows, heads, fingers, joints, and chins.
Although the pain is there, some parts never really touch, divided by a thin piece of natural or man made fabric.
Like winding up a clock, chaos comes to an end, and order is restored.
The whole theory starts again, proven by the result of sweat, scrapes and bruises.

LA

La would be nice. Was thinking of moving there for a while. I need sun. It would be a big change, but what isn't. Life changes. It's a new day everyday. So when you're young you have to venture out into the world.

I could just get a bunch of boxes, pack the things I need, mail them home, and get into my car and just go. I could also pack a few things, and sublet my apt in nyc and give LA a try for a few months. It all depends.

Paper Odyssey

New idea about Erwin and his son.

Erwin tells a story to Dylan. We go back to the young Erwin, 8 or 9, taking care of his sick mom. His slightly older brother, Ben, and himself clash about taking care of the mom. Ben makes him do all the chores.

Mother nature sends out voids (spirit like beings that take the form of the being that allows chaos within their bodies...so they die...

There are elements around Erwin's world that must be vanquished to save his mom...

1. Trash monsters...the trash...much trash around the city is in the water and everywhere. This makes it hard for his mom to get better because of all the impurities.

2. The weather. the storm around them is always there and erwin sails out to meet the grumpy storm. He needs enough wind to defeat it...maybe the kites can collect it for him

3. he needs to talk to mother nature to halt the voids...

4. He confronts voids that are supposed to get him too.

More soon...
