KOKO concepts

Carnival in Florida

EXT. STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL - DAY
It's a warm night at a strawberry festival in a rural town outside of Daytona, Florida. Farming families, cowboys and tractor drivers walk up and down the busy ballyhoo of tents and vendors selling fruits, meats and farm equipment. Colorful lights, streamers, balloons and cotton candies fill the scene. A three piece country music band plays an older happy tune.

A boy, JIMMY, holds the hands of his mom, PEGGY, and his father, KEVIN. They walk down the middle of the isle and make their way into an arcade area.

KEVIN tries his hand at the basketball hoops. Last shot misses. Oh says the vedor, better luck next time.

Peggy tries to toss a beanbag at the sink the clown. He make fun of her, but she nails it and the clown falls into the water.

CLOWN: Come one lady, what did you just come from the

They make their way to the leap frog game.

Dad can I play?

Sure.

Other kids stand around him. One bully kid: Hey you think you can do it? We both tried and failed.
The carnival man looks mean. You can tell he’s a cheater. Hey is that kid old enough to play? Kevin: You bet he is. Oh yeah? Well let’s see it.

Come on Jimmy, show that man you can do it.

Jimmy gives the man a dollar. You only get two.

But the sign says three.

I make the rules here.

Alright two, then.

Burt

My name is Burt and I'm a teddy bear and I have a really big head. My creator stuffed a little bit too much stuffing into my head. But I'm glad because it made me smarter than any bear ever created. With my knowledge I have been able to create my own intelligent scientists and formed an engineering firm that develops top secret weapons for the government. Right now I'm working on 20 feet high teddy bears. They're strong and powerful and will help change the world. they will be able to build bigger ships and perform labor at all hours of the day. Soon my Giant Teddy bear armies will be able to take over the world.

Biloxi the Teddy bear

Biloxi

My name is Biloxi and I’m a brown Teddy bear. The little girl, Cheryl, who once owned me is no longer here. She passed away a couple of years ago. Her parents still haven’t gotten over her death so they’ve left me in her bedroom. It’s quiet in here and not like it used to be. There were once slumber parties and tea parties, in which I happened to be a guest of a few. I was given to Cheryl by her best friend Kristen.

Good Robot

I was ready to go out and I walked into my father’s bedroom to say good night and it was so dark, that I nearly tripped on the power cord leading to the opposite side of the bed. The tape had weekend and the cord was becoming lose again. I needed new tape soon or one day I would forget and unplug the whole thing.
It would be terrible, since the cord runs from the outlet of the left wall and runs across the door entrance, under a carpet and then to the right side of the room. It runs under the bed and leads to a heart and lung machine which keeps my father alive. There’s a steady churn of the machine, which pumps air and life into his veins. Near the machine is an IV stand, in which the nurse comes to change everyday at four o’clock.
I waited for a few moments for Irene to arrive. She and I were going to dinner.

Cats and the scientists

Make the cats have fur they said. Make the cats purr they said. Give the cat personality they said. I'm going to have a word with those scientists.

The cat and the firehydrant play tug of war over the box. The woman passes and sees them fighting in the alley way. "
